In KEIJO -project, a new, long-period rehabilitative education model for ex-offenders and people with alcohol or drug addictions is developed.
In the project, we develop and pilot an expert by experience -educational model and find ways to position it in relation to existing education systems and labour markets. The objective in the education is to offer a meaningful pathway towards working life and an opportunity to rebuild the participants´ bonds into society. The education model supports participants in turning their own experience into professional skills and its main objective is to improve participants´ employment.
The project is funded by the European Social Fund (2018-2020) and it is executed by Valo-Valmennusyhdistys together with Silta-Valmennusyhdistys and Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
